While doing a course in University College Dublin (A History of Women in Ireland), Roisin was inspired by the lace making and needlework created by the women of the time in order to survive. The great art and quality of their work was renowned in many leading European households.
This led to Roisin creating a range of heirloom Irish Linen Christening Gowns and products etc (i.e. Booties, Bonnets, Shawls, Rompers) with Celtic embroidery inspired by The Book of Kells, Trinity College, Dublin; products that will be of high interest to the Irish Diaspora, the new Irish and the traditional market.
Dublin Linen and Lace have grown rapidly and now supply christening products to many customers around the world. We are now a family run business.
